Day 13 - Dungarpur to Banswara (Half day)

Rode the morning part of the ride. Having problems with saddle sores. Adjusted my seat height once already. Then my handlebars were too high. Still did not solve my chamois rub issue.

This morning adjusted my seat height again. Seems better but then my back was killing me after 40 miles. Decided to end my ride at lunch and ride back in the van.

For tomorrow’s ride I’ve adjusted my saddle height and handlebar height again to see if this helps with my saddle sores.

Ride today 44.6 miles with 955 feet of climbing.

Riding my bike is a social event for me. Because I’m so much slower than everyone I’m finding the social aspect is difficult because I’m spending most of the day riding by myself. I finish a lot later than everyone and I’m usually really tired. I know I have the endurance but am I enjoying it?

Maybe I should start riding half days, but then that feels somewhat defeatist.

Tomorrow is a new day.
