Let's get this party started!

Greetings friends and family,

Many of you have asked me to send pictures and updates from my upcoming trip to India.  This is my attempt to make that happen.  I plan to post and upload photos as often as I can, maybe daily, maybe every few days.  We'll see how tired I am at the end of the cycling day! 😓

I will be flying out on Jan 23, 2025 on my very first BIG adventure cycling tour.  Everyone around me knows how nervous and anxious I am about this.  Many of you have helped me get ready, given me technical support, (DeSalvo Custom Bicycles - custom frame)  (Hutch's Bicycles - bike components and fitting), helped my physical conditioning (Profound Strength), (Robyn Pester - physical therapy) given me encouragement and told me everything will be OK!

Thanks everyone, I needed all of that.

To see information on the tour you can find it here on TDA Global Cycling - Hippie Trail 2025.  There you will find more information and a description of the tour.

We meet and depart from the city of Agra, the location of one of the most iconic buildings in the world, the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Taj Mahal.  Our first day of riding starts on Jan 29, 2025 and over the following 39 days (30 days riding with 9 rest days), we'll ride west and south and eventually down the coast to Goa.

I want to say I'm excited and I AM, however I'm also scared to death at the same time! Haha, this is going to be a trip of a lifetime.  I leave here with an open mind and an open heart, to let myself experience this adventure wherever and however it takes me.

You can also see my daily rides if you follow me on Strava

I'll miss all of you while I'm gone and a HUGE thanks to my husband for holding down the fort while I go off on this adventure. 💙

Make sure you hit the follow button if you want to get updates when I add new posts.
